This black vinyl coated chain link fence project in Bothell, WA (98021) was completed to secure a back lot boundary and create a strong, private perimeter along an existing retaining wall. The homeowner needed a fencing solution that provided reliable protection, reduced visibility into the property, and held up long term with minimal maintenance. Security was a major priority, so the final design included both privacy slats and a barbed wire upgrade while maintaining a clean, uniform appearance.
We began by tearing out and hauling away the existing chain link fence, then carefully reviewed the retaining wall conditions to determine correct post depth, spacing, and structural reinforcement. CR-20 powder-coated steel posts were installed for added strength, followed by black vinyl coated chain link fabric and a black powder-coated top rail and fittings. View Guard privacy slats were added to eliminate visibility through the fence, and a black vinyl coated 3-strand barbed wire upgrade was installed to further enhance security. Over three days, the fence was aligned, tensioned, and integrated cleanly along the retaining wall, resulting in a durable, professional-grade enclosure that delivers both privacy and peace of mind.
